yep its true my best friend annie will be a married woman tomorrow! Annie and I go far back... we were good friends in Jr. High. In high school I always considered her a great friend, but she had cheerleading, I had soccer and we both had boy friends. Which meant we didn't do as much together as we should have. To this day that bums me out. We are what you call two peas in a pod. We can read each others moods and facial expressions like its our job. We have that wonderful super power to read each others minds. We often get asked if we are twins or sisters. I take that as a compliment because she is GORGEOUS. After high school we went our separate ways. She went to Utah State and I headed down to sunny St. George. In August of 2008 Sar lost her dad to a heart attack. I remember hearing the news and breaking down. I called her a few days after losing her dad and since that day we have been inseparable. Although we lived a good 400 miles away we talked on the phone or text every single day. This sounds so ridiculous because this usually only applies to a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship but the distance somehow made us closer than we had ever been. My first year at school my other two best friends got married, I had never been more grateful for annie in my life! In march of 2009 I lost my brother Cody. Having both lost a loved one with in less than six months of each other we grew even that much closer. We cried together and she was the ONE friend I had who understood exactly how I was feeling every step of the way. I could not even wait for summer to come. The summer of 2009 we spent every waking minute together. You could say we were literally connected at the hip, and we have been ever since. We've been on vacations together, double dates, had countless sleepovers, spent the summer tye dying and roller blading, we spent two summers in a row in Flaming Gorge, we shop together, we created our own Best Friends day( I mean who do else do you know that has a best friends day? No one.), we both are obsessed with the color purple, her family is my family, my family is her family, we both call each other by our middle names, we have the exact same taste in just about everything( minus the fact that she doesnt love country like I do), we vent and cry to one another(if you know sar you know she's the toughest person around, but yes I have seen her cry several times ha), we share clothes like sisters, we are completely honest and sometimes way too blunt with one another( its all out of love), 80% of our closets consist of the same things and neither of us care one bit, she loves to embarrass me, I love having to beat everything out of her, she is rational when I am so irrational, she tells me the truth 100% of the time( even if I don't want to hear it), I make her open up, while she sits and listens to me vent, we rarely fight, she is hilarious and makes me laugh constantly, we have the same thinking process, our family and friends joke that I wish she was marrying me instead of Jordan(we did discuss this the other day and decided that might not be such a bad idea... KIDDING), there was a point in our lives we went to at least 2 movies a week, I trust her with absolutely anything, she knows my secrets and I know hers, basically you could say she is the BEST best friend I could ever ask for! We already decided we are going to be next door neighbors when we are both married and our kids will be best friends. She has a rule that I can only bring one of my kids over at a time ha. I cannot wait for all the fun to come in the future. I am so proud of her and the decisions she has made in her life that have lead her to an Eternal marriage in the Temple. She is such a good example, and I look up to her so much! I am so excited for her new adventure of being married, and I'm so grateful for her fiancé who lets me constantly be the third wheel. He said we can even have sleepovers when they are married, he's cool huh?? Well I couldn't be happier for Annie, and I am so grateful for all she has done and continues to do for me! She is beautiful inside and out, and I would be lost with out her! I love you annie pie, thanks for everything!! Not to mention she will be the most beautiful bride on the planet. I'll post pictures later... you'll agree!
