the story❤

It's no secret I've wanted a baby my whole life. Growing up I remember telling my mom I was going to skip getting married and have 100 kids. 

Before Brady asked me to marry him he made sure to clarify he was NOT ready to have kids just yet. We agreed on a two year plan. We both felt good about it! Next thing you know we were married and the day after our wedding I told him I wanted a baby! I think he almost died. I kept up with my not so subtle hints. At times I would want one so bad it's all I thought about. Don't get me wrong I loved spending time with just my husband and married life was great but I knew a baby would make its all THAT much better. He loves kids and babies but the idea just scared him to death. I eased up on my convincing and decided it would be much better when we were both ready! 

In April Brady started a job with eBay which offered amazing insurance. That definitely got me back to wishing and hoping! I could tell he was  warming up to the idea, but I was determined to have it be a mutual decision with out me having to beg and convince him. I wanted him to be over the moon excited when it did happen instead of freaked out. 

One day in the middle of April we both just knew it was time to try! I was ecstatic & nervous now that the time was actually here! If you ask Brady he'll tell you I took a pregnancy test every day for the next two and a half months. If you ask me it was only once a week. Either way, I was convinced every week it was "the week". 

June 29th I went and visited my best friend and her new twins. I came home and just had a feeling I should take a pregnancy test. Brady was outside working on his car. I didn't make him come in because I decided it would most likely be negative. When the little pink line appeared I about died. I was sure I needed to double check, again it was positive. I wrote a little note and called Brady to come in. This is what I had waiting for him. 

I immediately burst into tears and he gave me the biggest smile. I couldn't have asked for a better reaction. We feel so so grateful it happened so quickly. We realize we are very blessed! 

I called my Doctor to get a blood test, just to make sure and it was definitely positive.

Brady has put up with my exhaustion, nausea, non stop complaining & my crazy crazy hormones. It's amazing how quickly your body changes, and I am so grateful he continues to put up with me! We are SO excited and can't wait for this little nugget to get here!
