An apple a day doesn't keep the doctors away.

Well today was a busy day filled with two visits to the doctors. The first visit was simple and quick. The longest part was the 6 pages I had to fill out( ok maybe it was only 3 but still... seemed like 6), However the outcome of the first visit was lame. The Doc took one look in my mouth at my tonsils and said within five seconds... "you need a tonsillectomy." Just GREAT. He then proceeded to tell me if you are over 12 its a very painful recovery and I would need to be in bed for 10 days. The ten days in bed on strong meds sounded very appetizing to me, but the word painful was lets just say painful to hear. So the tonsillectomy is set to happen within a few weeks. He also informed me that I cannot take any headache medicine from now until the surgery. I was not happy and i'm pretty sure I might be breaking his rules:) Well the second visit of the day was an eye exam. This appt took a lot longer and the outcome was... nothing. ha maybe i'm going crazy but I swear my eyes are bad. Well all in all it was good to just get them checked considering I haven't for 3 years. After a long exam they sent me out with those huge amazingly good looking glasses on. ha i'm sure I got laughed at my numerous people while shopping inside stores... its cool these days to wear sun glasses indoor. just look around. ha well all in all today was an ok day. I'm just scared out of my mind for the tonsillectomy. lets just pray it all goes smoothly!

Oh and did I mention my older sister has to get her's out as well so we are getting them done the same day. hahaha my poor mother has to take care of both of us for ten days. mind you we will be on serious meds. she might need to borrow someones video camera pronto.
